Diagnostic Imaging Residency

Petrone Associates Residency Program

Petrone Associates established its diagnostic medical physics residency in 2020 when it received its provisional accreditation from CAMPEP. We look forward to our CAMPEP site visit in 2021 as this is the final step in the initial accreditation process. We participated in the match process last year and had our first resident start in July of 2020.

Our program is a two-year residency that covers all imaging modalities as well as the radiation safety aspects needed to perform pertinent RSO duties, which includes but is not limited to radiation shielding designs, department auditing, and CT/Fluoroscopy dose optimization. We believe that we have a lot to offer our residents as Petrone Associates has been providing full service medical physics services in the greater NYC area for over 30 years and we have access to all manufacturers, models, and vintages of imaging equipment in our scope as well as a diverse and experienced team.
